I learned today that quilting is not easy. I got out my sewing machine and some material, and I thought I'd make myself a quilt. I was plain stupid to think it would be easy. I wish there was something that I was talented in. --Shannon

I gotta say, those previous two comments are totally bizarre. Anyhow, don't give up with the quilting! You can do it...maybe start small, do a blanket for one of the dogs just to get into the rhythm of it? Also, you might choose a really simple pattern. Like, just plain squares sewn together, but cool fabrics. Don't give up--it takes patience, but I think you'd get totallt addicted once you got into it. There are a lot of cool things you can do. If you have time. I wish I had time..

Don't give up on the quilting! You can't expect to be an expert the first time you try.
