Trip to Spokane Washington to see Aly and AJ:

The Jonas Brothers opened for Aly and AJ. I didn't care for them much, but G liked them. The youngest brother in this band is 13 I believe. Can you imagine being a 13 year old boy and playing infront of a bunch of screaming girls across the country? Posted by Picasa

Aly on the right, AJ on the left. Aly is about 17, AJ is about 15. These girls gave a great show. They really did. They interacted with the audience a lot, had tons of energy, tons of confidence, lots of smiles and thank yous, told the audience what the songs were about, they're quite talented musicians, and they didn't do any crappy dancing like Britney Spears. I have to admit, I was very impressed. Even though I only went for Gillian, it was one of the best shows I've ever been to. Posted by Picasa

Aly had the stomach flu, but they did the show anyway. Halfway through the show, she needed to do the rest of the show sitting down. Posted by Picasa

Much to my surprise, I really liked downtown Spokane. There were lots of beautiful old buildings, it was very clean, quiet, yet they had a lot to do. I wouldn't mind living there except that it's in the middle of nowhere. Here is Gillian taking over the lead in the race with the iron people. Posted by Picasa

The carousel had all horses except for one giraffe, and this angry tiger. Posted by Picasa

This carousel was built in 1909. Posted by Picasa

On our way home, we stopped at this place that had all kinds of statues and what not. I loved the place. Lots of rusted metal stuff. It was huge and I could have spent all day poking around there, but it was too hot, so we only were there about 30 minutes. We bought a little lizard and a squirrel for our backyard. Posted by Picasa

I liked these guys a lot, but knew my neighbors would hate me if I bought one. Posted by Picasa

Stopped to get gas and took this picture of smashed cars, because smashed cars are cool, or something. Posted by Picasa

Our last stop before home - Multnomah Falls. (Trudy was there but was being uncooperative, as usual) Posted by Picasa
